Karen Osinski, Edinburgh Clinical Toxicology's Advanced Nurse Practitioner, is an integral member of the team.

Our specialist nurses play a crucial role in the clinical unit in leading a core team of nurses to provide a high standard of care for our patients and also play an important role in the academic arena, presenting at national and international conferences and publishing articles in peer reviewed journals. 

Perhaps one of their biggest achievements, however, is the hugely successful annual TOXTALKS CPD event aimed at improving the knowledge of nurses, paramedics and other health professionals who deal with poisoned patients. This event receives rave reviews every year.
